Sales Engineer/Wireless product Specialist

Tecore Networks is a leading provider of multi-technology mobile networks for emerging operators and rapid deployments. Our solutions include core as well as radio access network infrastructure, supported by state-of-the-art professional services.

Tecore Networks is seeking Sales Support Engineers to support our global business development efforts which include selling solutions to cellular operators as well as channel partners and system integrators.

The Sales Support Engineer serves as the technical lead for pre and post-sales discussions while responding to customer or channel partner inquiries and technical issues; analyzes customer technical requirements and translates them into specific actions and recommendations; provides presales technical expertise including product and system presentations; product demonstrations, technical training, application/network design, and other related activities. You will also engage in regular business reviews and weekly sales forecast activities; capture customer requirements, develop responses to RFIs/RFPs, and prepare sales proposals for customers and strategize on accounts from both a business and technical perspective.

Desirable experience: working with CDMA, WiFi, 3G, GSM, IMS, SAT, LMR and UMTS networks and service classes; supporting infrastructure equipment and cutting edge technologies (Core and Radio Access Network).

 

Proven technical relationships with vendors and customers: Government/Defense/Commercial Wireless Divisions of Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia/Siemens, Nortel, QUALCOMM; Airvana, AirWalk Communications, Huawei, IP Access, UT Starcom, Zynetix (Sonus), Interwave, Vanu, ZTE, among others.

 

The ideal candidate will possess:

·       Bachelors or Masters Degree in business, electrical engineering or computer science.

·       Minimum of 5 years of technical sales experience with an emphasis in responding to inquiries and selling infrastructure solutions to the wireless marketplace.

·       Demonstrated success in creating customer interest and closing business for “system level” technology with sales cycles that average 12 months in the wireless and/or IT network industry.

·       Strong technical aptitude, including experience with (GSM/CDMA/3G) cellular infrastructure and IT networks.

·       Exceptional written and presentation skills, along with demonstrated success in conducting technical training programs for product, technology, system implementation and tech support activities.

·       Key skill set: native-speaking Spanish language competency; Technical competency in Spanish a must
